Modern Slavery Statement
Rochdale Textile Supplies Ltd (RTS) and its group of companies Carrington Textiles, Pincroft Dyeing & Printing, Alltex, MGC Acabamentos Têxteis SA and Melchior, are committed to driving out acts of modern slavery from within its supply chains. The group acknowledges responsibility to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and with the suppliers of goods and services to the organisation.
The organisational structure of the business is a privately owned enterprise which sources and finishes textile products to be used in the workwear, uniform and PPE markets. Within the supply of textiles there are relationships with external businesses for the sourcing of raw materials. These as well as the suppliers of services make up the supply chains within Rochdale Textile Supplies Ltd (RTS) and its group of companies.
As part of the group’s due diligence processes into slavery and human trafficking, the supplier approval process incorporates a view of controls undertaken by the supplier. Imported products from sources from outside the UK and EU are potentially more at risk from slavery/human trafficking issues. The level of engagement control required for these sources are continually monitored.
The group will not deal with any business knowingly involved in slavery or human trafficking.
The group’s directors and senior management shall take responsibility for implementing this policy statement and its objectives and shall provide adequate resources (training, etc) and investment to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within the organisation or within its supply chains.
The policy statement will be reviewed annually and published.
