MELCHIOR TEXTIL GMBH, located in Wangen in Allgäu, is a leading European supplier of workwear textiles for end users in industries such as government, trade, commerce, and healthcare. Since January 2020, we have been a 100% subsidiary of the Portuguese company MGC ACABAMENTOS TÊXTEIS, continuously expanding our business. The group's annual production capacity exceeds 100 million meters. Our clients, operating in 75 countries worldwide, include: McDonalds, UPS, BUPA, TATA Steel, Shell, Coca-Cola, Airbus, Jaguar Land Rover, BP & Arcelor Mittal.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced and dedicated Sales Representative (m/f/d) for the DACH region and adjacent export countries. Career changers are also welcome.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Active acquisition of new customers as well as maintaining and expanding existing customer relationships in the assigned sales area
  • Providing competent advice to customers regarding our high-quality fabrics and textiles for workwear
  • Creating individual offers and solutions according to customers' requirements and needs
  • Conducting product presentations and training sessions at the customer’s site
  • Continuous market observation and analysis of trends and competitors
  • Systematic development of our sales targets through active customer engagement
  • Responsibility for revenue and results in your sales region
  • Acting as a creative driving force for our product management and development regarding product innovations
  • Continuous analysis and evaluation of existing and future business areas, including market and competitive analysis

Your Profile:

  • Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in sales, ideally in textiles or textile trade
  • Extensive knowledge of textiles and fabrics with enthusiasm for workwear
  • Passion for sales and selling
  • Excellent communication skills and negotiation expertise
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, structured and analytical approach
  • Independent and goal-oriented work style with strong customer focus
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel, as well as a valid Class B driver's license
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, proficient in MS Office programs, and practical experience with an ERP system
  • Interest in a long-term collaboration
